I just sold my 99' suburban running a Pioneer HU, 3 sets of 6.5 JL components, JL slash series 400/4 & 500/1, 2 JL 13w3v3's in a vented enclosure. Sorry dont have any pics. Thing pounded hard and clean, and was extremely well balanced! i just posted a question w/o a response yet. Maybe you could help? I'm starting a smaller system in my 4runner.

The question is that i have factory enclosure specs on my Kenwood 12 I will be using. I am again running ported do to effiency but dont want the thing to take up the whole rear of my 4runner. so my dimensions will differ drastically from the factory enclosure specs but I will end up with the same airspace (2.0 cubic ft) can i use their dimensions for the slotted vent? Their vent is tuned to 34hz I believe which is right where I want to be...

Basically my enclosure will be running on the passanger side rear going over the wheel well. It will effectively look like an "L" laying on its side. Does that make sense?

i wonder if an Aero port would do more justice??Something Id ask about from one of the builders..its an option for you
