:noob: Head unit problem or wiring problem or need something??

I got a head unit and when i turn up the volume and i turn the bass a little bit the music turns off or the whole head unit turns off. Why is that ??? im not running any amps or subs ......do i need a capacitor??

no no dont need capacitor. idk wat u need but capacitor definitely isnt it

check your ground, make sure what ever it is connected to you sandpapered off the paint

Yeah... I'd check:

1) Ground

2) ACC/MEMORY wire ( Yellow ) - Connect that to a fuse in your fuse box

* Sometime this will cause it to cut off *

you either have a short in the wireing to any of the 4 speaker's or one of them is outta phase.

is it only when you turn it up..

or when you start to turn the bass up..?

when i turn up the bass basically cuz when i turn it up without the bass sometimes the sound messes up depending if the song has alot of bass or not

and how do you know if the wiring has a short???? .... or outta phase (see noob)
