2 questions

1. what is the nominal imp. of a 1ohm coil and a .7ohm coil?

2. what happens when you connect 2 diff imp. subs together in series-parallel?

example, say i connect 2 re mt's in series-parallel, and 1 is D1ohm and the other is D .7ohm, will one just get louder than the other, or will they not work?

Your nominal impedance is the just that. So say it's a "4ohm" driver, that's the nominal impedance. Then you have the Re for that, which would be in the ballpark of 3.something. For a "2ohm" it should be 1.something, etc...

If you wire two drivers in parallel and one has a lower Re, that one will draw more current. Generally not a good idea, but between a .7 and 1 ohm driver, I couldn't say how great the difference would be. You get the idea though.

Is that what you got for a reading with a DMM, .7 and 1 ohm respectively?
