Noise

Well I put in an cd7200mkii yesterday and the SQ has greatly improved (especially the high range and depth of sound). I have noticed a little bit of noise around 1-3khz, its something I can live with but when I do a new build I want to know what I can do to stop it. Is it probably coming from the RCA's? I had it with my other deck as well, so its not the new deck.

The amp wires are sent to the opposite side of the car as the RCA's.

There isn't much room in the radio slot so the wires are jam packed close together. (I am thinking that this is probably the cause.)

Anything else I can watch out for?

They are KNU RCA's next to top of the line. I could try it though.

I hadn't considered that... Thanks! Is there an easy adapter I can use to ground them?

they maybe got pinched while you were instaliing them in the first setup up you had just try that and see if it helps
