I have video setup in my truck that was professionally installed. I just recently added satelite radio, and every since then I get a whinning noise when playing video. I think it is alt. noise but im not sure. It gets louder and raises in pitch with more rpms. The funny thing is that its only in the right side speakers. I can fade all the sound to the left side and the noise stops. Is this alt. noise, and how can I fix it.

Yes, its alternator noise. Also known as ground loop problems. Check your RCAs. Make sure they arent pinched or grounded. If its only the right side and when balanced to the left it doesnt have noise, then it would sound like to me its grounded somewhere along the line. Might need to add a ground loop isolator or ground the outer shield of the RCAs.

Its possible its the amp or the radio itself. But that should be a last result.
