Noise from my rear speakers - hissing?

okay this is weird. i just got a new avic-d3 and used the wireharness groundwire... now when volume is 0 u can hear it if u pay attention to it. and of course if u turn it up, the music just "covers" the sound.

now this "hissing" noise, i believe it's from the head unit. i'm running two amps, one 4 channels for my speakers and 1 mono for my 3 subs. i think it's the head unit... probably ground?

but i don't get why using the stock grounding through the wire harness will not ground it correctly.

How does it sound with the RCA's unplugged from the HU?

Isn't that a DVD player unit, if so the hiss is probably coming from the DSP's in the unit.
