Its pretty easy to hook up a video system. If you need any help just ask, or send me a PM.

Just got my new video components in the other day, hopefully I'll find some time to install 'em. Got a Sony XAV-7W, Starvision 5.6 Ceiling mount, Panasonic DVD player, and the PS2 is on the way. Ive been thinking about getting some little monitors to mount in my sun visors just for kicks, but that will be on down the road.

I have that Reactor Screen

Ok...but weak angled viewing

ITs ok its on a visor which moves to where u want it

I have my PS2 and Super Nintendo (Best gaming system eveR)

Occationally I'll throw the JVC vcr in there...but thats for road trips

I just wish I had a HU with a center channel

Sound so much nicer with directional 5.1 sound

I've got an Athlon 1700+ mounted in my car.

Full blown computer with 55 hours of Mp3 and a 19" flat panel monitor.

All running off a 1000 watt Inverter o it's own electrical system (I've got 3 separate electrical systems in my car, three alts, and three Batteries)

you got any pics? I'd like to see that...!

No pics yet - waiting till i finish off my ride.

Next I'm adding streetglow, a ton of neon lights, Window tint and then a paintjob

For the paintjob I'm getting the Car painted Black and The pheonix painted on the hood in Chameleon. When it's done I'll be posting pics for everyone.

Here's a "Before" Picture. But that is before I even owned the car, never mind put my system in.

I have a huge stereo in already. The athlon is in (stored in the spare compartment).

I'm adding streetglow, neon, and a new paintjob, But you guys know that. I also would like to lower it about another 2".

What year? I'm going to take a wild guess...see how well my F-Body knowledge treats me...and I say...'85? Maybe '86? No...I say '85....

350? 305? 4 spd? 5 spd?

- Steve

It's an '85 (good guess, did you own one?). With a 2.8L V6 (the V8's just waste gas, and the 305 is pathetic for these cars). It's got the 77-mm 5-speed tranny in it. I've had this car up to 220km/h (clocked with a porsche), which I believe is fast enough.

The stereo consists of 4 10" JL Audio subs

some pioneer 6X9's

and JBL 4X6's

5-300 watt Pioneer amplifiers power the whole set-up

where exactly did you put a 19" flatscreen? its not like you drive an SUV so im just wondering where theres space in that car for a screen of that size....and 3 alternators? maybe i dont get out enough (which i really really don't... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )... -scott

Actually I never said where. It's not a laptop, it's a full blown desktop PC running win XP Pro. The really sweet thing is - to add music I just connect it to my LAn and upload the new music.

The flatscreen is mounted below the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle, in the area that normally be a glove box, had they put them in these cars.

The second Alt is installed where the AC compressor would go (I don't have Air conditioning so I don't need the compressor). The third was tricky but I managed to install it below the A.I.R. Pump that runs the vacuum on MPFI models.

The rest of the system is stored in the hatch area. All my Amps, Subs, and the PC.

I was able to get my hands on a mini keyboard for it and that is mounted into the top of the dashboard. A trackball on the console allows for mouse control.

The only problem I am having with the set-up is that, before I turn off the car, I have to manually shut down the PC (but I'll fix that with a UPS and a couple of relays when I get a few days off here)
