no power to head unit

I have been using an Alpine CDA-7863 for about 8 years now. Yesterday, I fixed some speaker wire connections. I did one wire at a time, so all of the connections are exactly the same as they were previously. the only other thing I did was clean the faceplate connections, both on the unit and on the faceplate. After this was done and everything was put back together, I turned it on and everything sounded great. I turned off the car, and about 5 minutes later turned it back on to leave, but now there is no power to the stereo. I checked all connections on the back of the unit, even though I never touched tthose, and I checked all of the in-line fuses. I can't figure out where the problem is occuring. Does anyone have any ideas?

It does seem like a classic fuse blown issue. I checked all of the exterior fuses and they seem fine. this may be a dumb question, but would there be a fuse inside the unit? I'm a little hesitant to actually open up the unit.
