my old head unit has died and ive made the decision that im going to wait for the pioneer 80prs....in the meantime i have installed a piece of **** budget pioneer deh-2700 that was like 100 bucks in 2005 Pioneer DEH-2700 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

my car (08 honda fit) has an amplified antenna that boasts the signal to supposedly get better radio connectivity. theres a wire adapter harness that spices out a blue wire that would go to the power antenna from the headunit harness and the standard antenna plug. although ive seen no difference from the average antenna, it does not work without it connected. this hu doesnt have a power antenna wire from the harness. can i wire it somewhere else?

pretty much now all i can do is listen to cds (not even mp3 cds) no aux or any of that fancy stuff. was hoping id be at least able to the radio. at least i was able to hook the subs up. now i know why we pay so much money for headunits.
