No fuses

So my friend has a Punch p3 12 sealed and a Boston acoustics 10 if different boxes in his RSX. Well he has 8 gauge wire on some kenwood amp. He keeps blowing fuses over and over and well being as i don't have a sub right now (untill my FI BL 18 arrives whenever the hell that is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ) he asked if he could take my fuse. So i was like whatever i ordered a new fuse holder and fuse so you can have m 80a as im getting 300a. Well is it bad if the cable is still connected to my bat pos if its not connected to an amp or anything just laying on my carpet. Dumb question i know but just wondering lol. I cant get the **** bolt off to take the power wire out..

You know the answer already.

If you can't immediatly disconnect the wire to Batt. just make sure you tape the crap out of the exposed lead in back. Carpet or not.

It can ruin your day trust me.

If you don't want to get the wire dead gunky just slide a small water bottle over it and tape the bottle to the cable, or similar.

If you have a wire going from your batt to your amp and one end is on batt and other is out of amp on floor and you had a fuse between batt and amp it doesnt matter.. no power can flow.. it will get as far as the fuse holder.. if you took the fuse holder off ya.. tape that shit up
