i wouldn't be laughing to hard. oliver perez and his 3-13 record are pitching game 7. i just don't understand this. the yankees and mets have payrolls both in the top 5. in elimination games, they have jaret wright and oliver perez pitching. talk about scrubs, these big payroll frnachises put there season in the hands of these 2 pitchers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i wouldn't be so bold to say scott kazmir is better then verlander. where do you get sanchez is better then zumya? 2.60 era in fewer innings then zumya's 1.94 and 94 strike outs in 83 innings and a baa of 187. it's amazing all the money the mets spend and oliver perez is pitching game 7 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

perez is only on the roster because of injuries..they dont really have a choice as to who will pitch and i would rather have perez then darren oliver who was rumored to be the starter if they reached game 7 a few days ago

id disagree just because he is a pretty good starting pitcher who brings knowledge and experience to a team that currently has and will continue to get young maturing pitchers, there is no better way to get help in the majors than to have a hall of fame pitcher there to help you improve after every inning

the amount of money and the length of contract they gave to a power pitcher, who is old, has a small frame, and is developing a history of injuries was a bad move.
