Jake designed the motor himself. Everything else is from RE including the recone.

Yeah I like the blue basket one as well.I think it looks beefy and not all cluttered by those spokes.And the cooling feature kicks ***!Can't wait to get my IA DR's.....ohhhhh yeahhhhh!

V1 Proto = my first proto motor, 4-layer FW coil, RE soft parts, DD CF cap

V2 Proto = my production motor (almost), sealed pole, basket spacers, 4-spoke, production soft parts

I say "almost" since it has a tighter gap than production. I reduced the Pole OD for production.

The basket probably IS the SoundStream basket, I bought them from a USA build house.

Also... correct on the slugs. V1 is 60mm and V2 is 75mm height.

I didn't even measure the slugs haha. I might have one installed by the end of the week but my box is pretty much shot. A new one is in the works though.

That won't be for a bit. My box is a POS and I feel that I won't be able to give it an accurate review. After the new box is built I'm going to put both drivers in a see how they do (obviously not both in the same box.) I'm still working on the box design since RE's calculator is screwed up. I might just have to get a hold of Fisher Customs.
