These are not the same because they are two different Prototypes. The one with the chrome motor is the V1. The other one is production prototype motor (basically a production NS motor with a pole vent). Jake epoxied the pole vent shut and added basket spacers. I don't know what the basket is from, but the cone is all production Nightshade. Both have different coils. The chrome one is DVC .7 and the other is DVC 2. The cones are different on both of them too. Jake could give you guys much more detail than me. The V1 is pretty musical for a SPL driver but I haven't tested them both. I have to go fix the box I've been using until I get one built. Once I have the new one I'll be able to do some serious testing.
