If anybody cares...

Step one: RAAMmat and Ensolite (akin to dynamat and sound "proofish" foam)

This is the mess I found under the carpet and spare tire:

Time to start cleaning:

Me taking a break:

Laying down the first section of RAAMmat:

Lookin good soo far, how much of the interior is actually getting done? I see you have seats and what not out, is there going to be lottttttttttsss of deadoning!?!

If I can get to it, it's getting deadened //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well, except the firewall. Too much work.

It's a CRX, so no trunk, it's a hatch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I doubled up everywhere you can see and that took 1/2 a roll. Still 1 full roll left.

I remember somebody asking for a pic of the car itself. Yes, I know it needs a drop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I'm going to take care of that next month with Eibach Sport's and Tokico Illuminas. Still needs more love but here it is:

Nothing *too* special.

Pioneer Premier P860MP

Kicker KS 6.2 components

Rockford Fosgate HPC2206 (i'm going to have the rear fill gain turned *way* down, I just wanted a little bit of rear fill)

Sub that was custom made by a guy that does custom installs for the Denver Broncos which is a 10" sub that will take 600 watts RMS

Ported box designed and built by him as well

Hifonics ZXi 8006 (I didn't want to go deaf, it will be plenty loud for me in that little hatch)

Yay, raammat + ensolite ftw! I've had great results with both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The car is *much* quieter now. I can still hear the tires a little and the wind a little, but it's definetly better. I think I can get rid of the wind noise if I replace the weather stripping. I wonder what that would cost from Honda?
