night shades or dc?

im looking at buying 2x 10's i compete so spl has to be up there but i like the occasional lows for daily.. im lookin at a set of night shade 10's or a set of lvl4xl's.. which do you guys prefer?

I have not seen a direct comparison of the XL and the NS. Mike (woofercooker) is offering up Nightshades for a good deal in the Classified, though.
