Didn't go, but i'm a huge NHRA fan/participant and have been for a longg time.

I'll be at the auto club finals coming up in pamona.

We field two cars in the Top Sportsman and Super Gas classes.

For those that have never been to an NHRA event, I highly recommend you go. It's really an amazing experience, you might see it on TV but being there is truly insane. Stand on the starting line when the Top fuel cars are going down, and your body literally feels like it's exploding. Not to mention that your eyes/nose are burning from the Nitromethane fumes. I'm sure the OP experienced this =). That's what 8000hp will do!
