Ok I don’t know if the pictures are going to work because I am new to the whole posting pictures part of this forum. Anyway....

I got a 1987 chevy truck that my father decided to dump off on me so instead of getting rid of it I wanted to start it as a project truck. When I first got the truck it looked a whole lot worse then this, I threw the new rims and tires on it and did some work to make it mechanically sound. Here is what I have done so far.

I put in a brand new gm crate 350; the biggest I could do was the 285hp because the smog laws in California are extremely gay. Even with Arnold driving around his gross polluting hummers. I also replaced almost every sensor under the hood, the truck is fuel injected so I figured might as well replace them while I’m in there.

Got the transfer case rebuilt (np208),

The TH400 had already recently been rebuilt.

Lifted the truck 8 inches, its only lifted 6 inches in the photos,

Putt on some brand new 35x14.50x16.5 boggers on,

Brand new weld mountain crushers 16.5x12

Allot more stuff has been done but I'm too lazy and sure you guys don’t care about all of the little stuff I have done.

Here is what is being done currently...

The truck has been completely stripped down and is in the process of being prepped for paint. I am thinking about painting a pearl white, all primers and paint will be PPG so I wont be using shitty paint.

Both axles (14 bolt rear, 10 bolt 8 lug front, both with lockers and geared at 4.11's) have been pulled out, stripped down to bare metal, primers and repainted.

Getting sway bar, shock hoops, leaf springs powder coated candy blue, getting u-bolts and tie rod chromed.

Going to be running fox reservoir long travel shocks (4 in front, 2 in back)

Now for the beat...

I put in an alpine cda-9885

Installed 2 optima yellow top batteries,

A powermaster 180 amp alternator,

Using a ppi pc4100 for the mids/ highs

Using a ppi pc1400 for the subs

ppi deq230 eq

have 3 10" w6v1's in a custom box, about .85 cubes per sealed chamber

I am limited on my sub choices because I only have room for 5 1/4" mounting depth

I am still looking for 2 good component sets that I will make custom pods for in the doors.

Tell me what you guys think, if you have suggestions I would like to hear them. You're not going to hurt my feelings so be honest. I will also be posting pictures of the build progress later today.
