Newb mistake?

Setting up the crossovers on the amp and mistakenly hit the 12 db 18db switch, right rear speaker "chirped" once then dropped to a barley noticeable sound level. Did I blow it? the left rear is working properly.

I'm assuming that switch is the slope of the crossover?

Switching from 12db slope to 18db slope shouldn't really blow a mid, unless it is crossed very very low and the slightly slower roll-off of the 12db slope sent too low of a frequency... But that seems unlikely to me, but I suppose anything is possible.

Best bet is throw a multimeter on the speaker wires at the amp and see what the coil reads.

Barely, as in put your ear on it to hear it. No mutimeter on hand.
