New US Amp MD 2D 1800W RMS

Anyone have experience with this amp? I am looking at one of the original us amps made in the us before they got the crappy korean boards. I am wondering if anyone had it benched for rms. I need somewhere around 1700-1800 RMS at 1.5ohm for 2 w7 12". Any info on them would be helpful I can get a bnib. Thanks for the info. Merlin's are still made in the us fyi......and just because its made in Korea doesn't mean its crap.

I have the 2005 MD2 and i love it..very nice..

I have one. It work well and is also nicely constructed. The blue light on the bass knob is bright as hell though. You can use it like a flashlight.
