I love the Samsung 7 series LCDs but haven't really looked into the DLPs.
Did you get the 3D glasses for the TV?
thats a little option i look forward to in the future when content is available. i know they've done 1 nfl game in 3d but idk much else. they say bluray will support it i guess, so hopefully ps3 will

give the DLP some time.My Mistsubishi looks great now

best buy has the 60735 60" for $999.99
only downside ive ever seen will dlp is side angle viewing. other than that im hoping the led last and if not they are 3 seperate lights so if one goes out it is cheaper to fix. but hoping that wont be any issue

How much are the glasses? Is that only a DLP thing?

I dont know anything at all about DLPs except they don't look good at an angle and the bulbs don't last long on the non LED versions

Warranty FTW covers the bulbs.

My sister and brother-in-law have that tv. Good choice the picture is pristine

dont even know how much the glasses are. i think the newer lcd's and plasma will support the 3d but right now its easier with dlp

Dude the bulbs have a 90-days warranty. Warranty FTL!
the bulbs are rated for 20,000 hour life compared to 7,000 on most everything else. i dont think warrenty covers it but im sure u could fight it. or if there isnt any problems they should last roughly 10years ftw

See that is just the thing. If it is not covered by the warranty, they will simply tell you to fuck off and buy a new bulb. Do you get that? You do not have that issue with a direct view TV. This is a problem with every single DLP display. That includes projectors as well.

you can buy most bulbs for pretty cheap mine are $100 straigh from mitsubishi

they usually last quite awhile. My friend at work has a samsung and its been going for 3 years and they watch ALOt of tv, the tv is on whenever they are home

my uncle and aunt also have an older mistubishi. They have the same bulb and thier tv is quite old.

LCD displays will go out also, they are just the new hip thing so people love em. Yes they will last longer than DLP bulbs but they will eventually burn out
