New TV

Alright, so I guess I'm looking to blow some money. SO, the next thing that need for my system is a new TV. I don't know much about them. So, I guess I'm looking for something with a super awesome picture, something around 42in and flat screen. So, let me know what you guys think..

I ended up getting a last-year Hitachi LCD model for good and cheap. But not because of the price...

I spent nearly an hour trying to tweak a Samsung unit on one side and a Sony on the other. No matter what I did, I just couldn't duplicate the picture quality of the Hitachi sitting between them.

I was sold.

I think I just need to go out shopping and see what pictures I like. I was looking at some Pioneer Elite but don't know if I can justify that much money for something I don't really use that much. My big thing in wanting to get rid of my current TV is that it makes too much noise when it's on and it bothers me listening to music....

Start searching online, look at reviews and specs and such... and then go out and look at the pictures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif...

Bout time. Feggy.

Just make sure you buy some HD **** to go with that HD Tv //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Oh, an HD digital camcorder is next on the list.

This may sound stupid, but insist on watching something low-key like standard cable, even take a VHS tape with you. The shops are always showing things off with the highest, best definition, but for the most part, you won't be watching everything in HD anyway. Its always good to see how well a TV reacts at lower resolution.
