I always have problems with the DeWalt batteries. Them bitches won't hold a charge for me. 5 minutes and they're dead...

Don't know if you've tried it, but put the battery on the charger for 8+ hours. After charging it, the charger goes into some refresh mode or something. Might help.

i have a Ryobi kit, works fine for what I need it for, had it for 7 yrs, now i just need some new Li-Ion batts to replace the ones that die w/in half a day... but I got two batts in the kit. Also have a Ryobi corded drill, all kinds of fun.

Bought a Skil jigsaw and its junk, my old black and decker was better...

I got the same one in a Skil Gift set for Christmas. It came with a light, Jig saw, the 18v drill, and a sander and the battery is interchangeable throughout all the tools. I like it. Its a pretty decent drill for the price.

i've got a lot of dewalt saw's and drills, but around christmas time, lowes had sale on Skil 18v tools.....i picked up an 18v drill, sander, flashlight, jigsaw, battery, and charger in a package for 40$....best deal i've gotten since i've been building boxes
