i have everything for the new system but 1 set of speakers all sitting in a pile waiting for spring, so i really didn't have anything left to shop for. started focusing my attention on doing the big 3 and buying up wire and rings and everything associated with it. then, while browising around the net, i found a place somewhat near me that had a part i wanted. i didn't necessarily need it, but i wanted it.

it's a hammer style professional crimper. it will work with 1 to 8 gauge wire and weighs about 3 or 4lbs. feels super heavy duty too. picked this up with some heat shrink tubing today. come on spring!!

you can get one at most, if not all, welding supply stores. they're about 15-20 bucks.
