so im pretty happy.

but...i need to know what router tips people use for cutting mdf...i have no idea.

i have the basic stuff at my house like the table saw, drills, sanders

but at school i have every tool needed and its nice going from a jig saw to a router for cuttin sub holes.

You are going to want to either buy or make a jig for your router - trust me. I tried doing it freehand router and it didnt turn out that well for me. So I scrapped that piece and took some real thing osb laying around, .25" i think, and made a jig. It just consisted of a large hole in the center for where the bit would come through and three holes where the screws would go into the router. I took off the plastic piece on the router and swapped the small piece of osb. To find where I needed to be, i measured from the center of the hole that cut for the bit, before I drilled the hole itself, added a radius of the bit to the measurement, and then went from there. Does this kind of make sense? I'll post pics later if need be.
