They would either wire to 8 ohms or 2 ohms, so you'd be getting either 450 watts each for 2 ohms or less than 225 watts each for 8 ohms.

However, if you use a DMM to set your gains you can set the amp to do 225 watts per sub.

wire it like this and call it a day, you will have extra breathing room when it comes to power

that is why you will be conservative on your gain, it is better to overpower a sub than to underpower it, at 250 watts per sub you are under the 300 rms by 50 and you are more likely to clip if you dont have the gain set correctly, if you do this set up you are 150 rms over per sub and you are less likely to clip and be more conservative with your gains since you have more power at hand. my first sub was rated 300rms, my amp was rated 600 at 2 ohms, i gave it the 600, it was perfectly fine and i used it for a year, i was conservative with the gain though, being 150 watts over what your subs are rated wont hurt them

On JL website for the sub it has a power chart it's best at 200 w or is that not accuall
with the gain not up all the way you will be putting around that much on it maybe a little more, you will be fine trust us, dont worry about all the little charts they have and that, wire it at 2ohms like above and be conservative on the gain, your system will run better and you are way less likely to have any clipping, if you ran at 8ohms your gain will be almost all the way up and you will probably clip unless you set your gains on an o-scope, i know you probably dont know what clipping is but here is the simple definition clipping=BAD
