I want to purchase for my 98 Cherokee a new Amp and New speakers. Right now I have a Rockford Fosgate deck in there (CD/MP3 and Tuner). I want to upgrade with a Alpine MRV-F345 Amp and the component speakers from MB Quart RCE-216 for the front doors and the Alpine SPR-17LS for the rear. No Subwoofer at this time. Have two dogs which I take very often with me on trips.

Please help me out here - very much new technic for me. Maybe I just should go to an Installer who can do it!?

Well welcome to the boards. I thought that was funny, that you havent installed anything since 1982. Finally someone older than me, lol! Anyway I would look into doing at least a 4g wiring kit for that amp. Those Mb Quarts are pretty good. With this wiring kit you should be good and in time if you want to add another amp and sub you will be set on the wiring. Check out ikesound.com and look up Lanzar products. They have some really cheap prices on wiring. I got all my 0/1g and 4g with a 1.2f cap for like 70 bucks, lol! Well good luck and what kind of dogs do you have? I did hear some good things and some not so good stuff about IKE Sound.com. Especially when it comes to shipping, they screw up quite a bit like sending the wrong merchandise or say they send it out that day, just to find out that they send the merchandise out 5 days later!

Me personally I send E-mails regarding shipping costs to AK and haven't heard nothing back from them so far!?

Anyway I still keep looking where I can get the best deals and the best shipping quotes.

To your question what kind of dogs I have - I have 2 Keeshonden. One is 9 years old and the other one I only can guess because I found him in the middle of our alaskan winter in '99 running the streets in Anchorage. Nobody claimed him - so I kept him. They both are now best buddys. He is maybe 6 or 7 years old.

or you can PM johnecon2001 he puts together custom amp kits. he may be able to help you out. yea 4 guage will be good enough.

Check Knu Konceptz for a wiring kit. I got a 4 gauge amp kit for $25 including shipping.
