whats up yall. new to site, actually new to having subs/amp too, read a couple threads, hope to learn a lot. I have 2 12" kicker cvr subs, a cheap off brand amp, bass inferno 1000w. a cheap, old head unit, blaupunkt. it hits ok.
first Q: My car is a 95 Lincoln town car. My system hits really good on the inside of the car and if I pop the trunk while playing music. but once I close the trunk, you cant really hear too much bass, only a small rattle from the quarter panels and trunk. I've talked to people that previously had the same car, and they said they had the same problem and the trunks were "almost sound proof". finally, my question is, is there a way to un-sound proof the trunk? I want to be able to hear the bass outside of the car too.
second Q: I have my subs facing up towards the trunk lid, is there a better position to have the speakers facing?
thanks, if theres anything else u guys would like to give me advice on i'd appreciate the tips. thanks again
