New to car audio, need seggestions on componints

Hey there, was hoping some of you guys could help me out figuring up what would work best.

Currently I have the following:

Sony-Xplode head unit

2 JL Audio 3 1/2's in front

2 JL Audio 6x9's in rear

2 JL Audio w3 subs

I had a 1000 watt eclipse amp untill my friend blew the **** thing, starting a fire in my trunk in the proccess.

Im looking at what would be the best components to get everything running as best it can. Im also willing to replace the head unit if there is something thats going to work better for me.

mainly I need advice on what types of amps to look for and crossover set ups and the such. If there is anyone willing to take the time to help it would be greatly appriciated.

if u've got the money to spend, mb quart, focal, image dynamics, and crystal mobilesound put out some awesome component sets.

alpine, eclipse and boston acoustic make some pretty good stuff for a nice price.

But remember its not the price or make or anything - its what you personally think sound best and suits your needs. Keep in mind instalation budget too - no point buying $500 components and not giving them a fair chnace by sh*t installation.
