I pretty much alway root against the SEC. Mostly because I hate the ESPN narrative that they are the best conference in football. I can agree with not the B10 as a whole. Iowa ***** (Hawks - why did it edit it?) and I'm surrounded by those fans. Michigan will probably turn into a powerhouse for the next 5 years until Harbaugh wants to go back to Cali. Michigan State is very good as well. Wisconson. I can't really think of any other great teams. The B10 was a power house division when you had all those big farm boys playing, it isn't the same world though.
Thats because the guys doing the voting are a bunch of twits. Thats why there is a playoffs now, and thats why the SEC can't get out of the first round. Granted only one year of this, still SEC - 0 for 2. B10 - 2 for 1. Pac10 - 1 for 1.
That was likely because, given SEC supposed superiority, they should never lose to a non SEC team, not even Vanderbilt, because the SEC is so incredibly great and superior. The fact is that the SEC plays mostly in the SEC. You can't really generalize the SEC as the best conference in football, not with other high quality programs from other conferences beating them. Only one playoff, and Alabama, the supposed best team in the NCAA, lost in the first round against a team that "grazed" into the playoffs. And Bama didn't choke, they played a competitive game, they were outmatched in every facet of the game. QB, RB, WR and defense.

But srs I could care less who hates Bama and who likes who. I learned a long time ago there will be good and bad among all fans from every team. And that's ok... if I see you at a game in T-Town and you're walking by my tent at the quad, I'll still give you a steak, crab legs and a cold beer. You're opinion might not be the same about Bama football but it will about the fans
