New to Amp

Just purchased an Alpine CDA 7893 and is considering adding an AMP to it. But I am completely new to Amp/Sub. What's the basic requirement and things that is a must and want in an AMP and Sub?? Appreciate your advise on this.

what u want the amp for? subs/ highs what??

how many subs u gonna get, what size, what model, what brand, what ohm?

what kinda of speakers 6x9s, components, what??????

need recommendations if so what kinda car is it goin in, do you want

hard bass, soft bass, sq, full bass, how much $ u got to spend...

answer all these and *DUB C WILL HELP YA OUT

yeh make sure u ask here before u get and amp kit my fist was a 200 watt 8 guage amp kit and i couldnt bridge my bubs down to 2 ohm 170 each lol

Intend to get the amp for the speaker. Have not got a sub yet. I am using Alpine front speaker with a tweeter. Back speaker is a factory one.

I don't listen to rock or loud music and really prefer good sound clarifity. Ususally Pop, Classic or Jazz.
