Try putting some landscaping blocks in your box in a place that doesn't disrupt air flow. Sometimes the decrease in box volume will help your score raise. A teammate of mine gained about .4 from it because he was using a large daily box.

i thought about adding a few blocks of wood to decrease volume actually. build a smaller box and use external 6 inch ports will be the next build...

Problem with ports back is his hatch itself is very low and and with the box in the hatch area there is little room for air flow over the box. Unless he makes the box thin so the air can flow around it. Once he maxes this one out which I think it'll do close to a 150.5db we'll build a pure spl box. The one in there now was for mostly music which as of now I heard is loud and sounds pretty good.

I'm not the only one to thank. I've done a box like this before in the past that worked well but forgot about it. Until a couple weeks ago I saw the design again in Iggy's car that tommyk made for him. And when you asked about new design and seeing Iggy's car jogged my memory. So Tommyk is also to think for this one. Glad it's working so far doing almost a 150db. Not bad.
