My car uses 205 60 16 ,but I can get 215 60 16 much cheaper,so question is what will I lose or gain from going with a slightly wider tire?
About 80 bucks for 4,but a much bigger variety.go on a tire calculator i dont think thats much difference and you wouldnt even notice a loss in mileage if u even did lose any
whats the price difference

Reread the thread my man.80 dollars for a set of 4???
**** man... those tires won't last for shit.
1 tire for me cost about 125...
you need to step up your budget or you're going to find yourself buying tires more often than you normally would need to.(though driving dependent)

How do you figure that more torque is needed due to moer grip? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif More torque will be needed to do a burnout, but daily driving, the only thing that is going to make a difference is the unsprung weight. And hell, in this case we are only talking about a size difference of .3937 inches. The difference will not be noticed, if it even exist.Wider tire == more grip.More grip == More torque is needed.
More torque is needed == More strain on your engine
More strain on your engine == More fuel consumption.
But as they said, it could be a minuscule amount.
