New tires

About 80 bucks for 4,but a much bigger variety.
80 dollars for a set of 4???

**** man... those tires won't last for shit.

1 tire for me cost about 125...

you need to step up your budget or you're going to find yourself buying tires more often than you normally would need to.(though driving dependent)

Reread the thread my man.

Wider tire == more grip.

More grip == More torque is needed.

More torque is needed == More strain on your engine

More strain on your engine == More fuel consumption.

But as they said, it could be a minuscule amount.

How do you figure that more torque is needed due to moer grip? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif More torque will be needed to do a burnout, but daily driving, the only thing that is going to make a difference is the unsprung weight. And hell, in this case we are only talking about a size difference of .3937 inches. The difference will not be noticed, if it even exist.

I would say in the difference of the size that its not a big noticable difference like if you were to change them to 255 tires. The gain is more grip since more tire contact with the road. and the loss is that you will use more fule but the difference between the two are very little so go with the one that fits your budget better. as long as its a good/decent brand.

he seems to know everything about every subject possible

wow. Yeah id go ahead and do it. It is a slightly wider and taller tire. Yes, it is 1cm wider, which is about 1/3 inches... so its insignificant. Shit, there are probably tires that are 205 that are wider than the 215, depending on what model tires you are comparing. And yes, theorhetically a wider tire means more rolling resistance, lessening fuel economy but the difference will not even be noticeable.
