New technology time travel

sure they would, wouldnt be THAT hard for them to reverse engineer it, you're underestimating the technology available in 1985. military is much further ahead than you think

I get that but multi gigabyte/ terabyte memory and multi core micro processors. The theories and actual software behind it. I dont know. Just seems like there would be a point where scientist would simply be like..we have no idea how this works

Hell, they probably couldn't even charge the **** thing

Tesla is probably laughing at these "geniuses" today. Tesla accidentally did some **** they think was extra-dimensional when he tried to develop a cloak for the US military. I know they messed with it in the 1980s and i think it scared the **** out of them again and they put the project off.

Many of his theories and blueprints are still hidden or forever lost. I wonder if he will be the next davinci in 500 years

i don't know and i'm not genius but i read some of his work and its ******* amazing. honestly i truly think NOTHING is impossible.
I wouldnt say that nothing is impossible because there are rules to the universe and those rules will eventually have their absolute boundaries we cant surpass. I will say that I would never pretend to know enough about anything to say anything is impossible or possible.

I can agree with that but for example what are the rules in a black-hole? at the speed of light? if we can de-materialize and or turn into another state of being?

Ive read a fair amount about black holes. Absolutely fascinating.

I have a book on it. Its from a guy who disputes Einstein's theories and talks all about what goes on at and near the event horizon. PM me your address and ill send it your way.

For example. It talks about time travel and how its relative to gravity. How its possible to effectively travel forward in time by having an unbreakable tether between you and a ship of some sort. If you were on this tether and you traveled very near to the event horizon (point of no return on a backhole) and the ship was far from this point. The gravity that would be affecting you and more importantly, the time around you would be so strong that as mere moments pass you by, your spacecraft would be traveling extremely fast relative to you. In other words. A mere ten minutes for you could be 1000 years to the ship. If the ship was programmed to pull you up after a certain timer. You would be able to effectively time travel in a humanly reasonable time period.

travelling forward in time is not that difficult....GPS satellites have to adjust for their reference frame having time pass more slowly all the time. It's travelling back in time that's a kicker.

As far as reverse engineering tech in the 80's that we have today...who's to say the original phones weren't reverse engineered from something else to begin with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif At the end of the day it wouldn't be difficult. The concept of a transistor hasn't changed much. It's not necessarily the idea of tech that is difficult to grasp; it's having the capability to manufacture and a sufficiently mature state of material science that really affects the progression of technology.
