New Sub Suggestions

I wasn't trying to put it out there because your trying to sell your sub but since you asked that amp won't really push an xfl and he would get more output from a sub closer rated to what his amp puts out.

1. The XFL will do just fine on 700W. Just as good as an SA will, at least.

2. The XFL is cheaper, saving him money for a bigger amp.

3. He has plenty of headroom for a bigger amp with the XFL.

The American bass and SA's just don't seem that appealing to me. Mas options? I was figuring I needed something that would do well in 1.5 net.

Those subs are rated for 800 watts RMS, have a 3" copper voice coil, 1" xmax and require around 1.77 before port a sub displacement. If you can squeeze a little more room, they'll be even happier. MSRP is 222.00. Jim aka mylows has seen one and can attest to the build quality of them.

Decided to change things a bit. I order a 12 inch icon and will run my amp at 1 ohm. I'm thinking of doing 2 cubes with 3 inch port tube.
