New Sub suggestions/input

Currently running a DAD kmh 15 on a ppi bk1800. My box is around 2.5 cubes..

This sub can only handle around 600 rms.. I'm looking to double that. I was looking into a VFL 1544 or maybe an HDC3 15.

Out of my box size/cubes and these two subs what do you recommend? Mylows can ship me a vfl for $215.. the HDC3 on the soundcubed website is like $280 before tax/shipping, so im thinking a little over $300. Unless I can find it cheaper elsewhere

I love the dad and how low/loud it is, but it isn't enough, I want more. If I could fit 2 15's I would!

Soundqubed includes shipping in their prices. And the HDC3 can probably take 4 times what you have. If you only want to push 1200, go with the HDS300

SQ Over the AB? I have a ppi 1800.1 so I can push you know 1800 maybe a little more, idk. I was just saying double for example

The HDC3 can handle a clean 2500 I'm sure. Many people run them on the 2200. You will need a MUCH larger box for an HDC3 though. You have enough room to go bigger on your box? 3.5 at the smallest.

I'd like to get a bigger box, I've got plenty of room but I literally just got this system a month ago and paid like $250 for the custom box, can't really afford another box to be build by anyone, plus another sub yet.

Whatever you dig man! I understand, you could look at DC, I typically don't care for DC, but it would work better in 2.5 than an XFL.

With a larger box after rise the sub won't get as much power as you think

Im taking it that is a sealed box?

Because 2.5cf ported is a tadddddddddddd bit on the small side for a 15

probably how that KMH hasn't blow yet on that 1800 lol

Nope it's ported. And yes I've blown it once already, lol. Reconned it. Waiting on it to blow again so I can buy something else. 500 Rms just isn't enough.
