well maybe not, but still pretty cool
with all this talk about Mach5audio, and the fact the they are located in my city, i decided to take a trip over to mark's house to check out the mil 6.5s. aswell as the 10,12,15 and the 18. also there might be a 8" in the future of mach5. but anyways. my plan is to use the 6.5s as my dedicated mid bass on a LPF around 300hz and aloud to play as low as they can. ill let my boston FS60 set take care of the upper end, on a HPF of around the same. BUT for now there gonna act as "subs" i built what i thougt was a .75 cube box tuned to 50hz with a 1X4.5" port but turned out to be a .9 cu ft box at 46hz. wich im glad it did turn out that way. i whipped up the box extra fast to nigh and ill cut the sub cut outs 2moro and give it a try. if i like em, they might end up in my GF dads truck. he realy needs to upgrade from the 6 year old jensen 10" subs with a torn suround with tape on the back. this may fit the bill
well i took em for a road test, and the sound is not bad for what there worth. they definaly shit the bed on teh lows, but the mid bass is very strong. im thinking i might try tuning into the low 40s and i might try a 6th order band pass. ill post some pics l8r
