This really goes against ca.com's ways. Generally you just make a rule no questions asked, but we actually get to vote? This seems like a trap to me.

I think flaming is a part of life..and unless it is so egregious that 99% of the people on the forum would agree it is, I think flaming should be left alone. Too much subjective discretion on the part of a mod to pretend to be fair. We have all seen certain "forum" friends get away with flaming, whereas a newb would get the boot for saying similar things.

I think only extreme cases should be dealth with, Like teh Caprice kid, I felt sorry for that guy.. He did nothin to deserve that... But Deerhunt deserves the flaming and enjoys it.. It should be a case by case basis and based upon degree.. poking fun and calling one another a *** and whatnot is part of the Ca.com i have grown to love.

I also hope the new mods dont abuse power like the here now.. (not Devillain) but other spunksuckers

I agree, don't think there really needs to be a rule, its at the discretion of the mods...if something goes to far...stop it. If people ***** about it, ban them too. A forum will never fit cookie cutter rules, thats why mods moderate.

true, you do have a point however, there are 10 different mods with different personalities. All from different places, I think that should cover most if not all th edifferent views on flaming. If one doesnt catch it, another will.
