I love these posts... about how "old school" amps were better. The funny part is when the A series came out, everyone were saying the exact same thing, that the "point" series was much better... infact it seemed concensus around the time that the A series over heated and liked to blow up all the time .C'mon now, we know the amps are no where near the quality of the old school amps... The last good ones they made were the a series : 200a4's 500a2's....

But now several years later, the younger folk like to say the A series was the best. Not that I am old or anything. 25
I think now besides having much more choice then we use to, the stuff is much cheeper and we can get a lot of power for practically nothing.
