New Rifle?

I really want to get a new rifle for smaller game. My budget is around 600 for the firearm itself. I am currently very interested in the Savage 12FV. If any of you hunters out there have any suggestions let me know.

Don't really know what prices are like in your area . Round hillbillyville here , kimber classic 22-250's can be had for around $500 , Kimber varmint 22-250's and .223's can be had for $600-$650 . Weatherby vanguard 30-.06! Synthetic stock.. I love mine to death and wouldnt trade it for anything.

I think i paid like 488.xx something and can be bought at walmart

i mostly used shotguns so i cant help you much do you need a lisense to have a rifle?
