my HHR does 174HP....what really turned me away from the scions is that they are rebadged Diahatsu's

1) You clearly know nothing about cars

2) HHRs are queer, ugly, slow, AND American

3) Your car doesn't do 174 horsepower, it makes

1. you clearly know nothing about cars...the Diahatsu is a rebadged scion. they have been interchanging parts like chevy/isuzu. Diahatsu is crap and so is the xb.

some say my HHR is like a PT, but they share different base vehicles, better ecotec engine which is built by Lotus, and better trannies. plus with a 5yr/100k drivetrain warranty it has to be pretty reliable. on top of that the HHR recieved 5-star frontal and side impact crash ratings with no side airbags. i did the research before i bought my car and i also test drove evry econobox out there. considering i paid cash i have more know how and experience than you do since i would research a car much more than the average consumer since i would be shelling over a large sum of cash and not leasing it.

i also own a nice rat rod so the HHR fits in at the shop.

2. because the HHR is metal,plastic, faster than an Xb and Mexican American like myself.

3. touche, 174 is better than 158

4. yes a 2-door american car which is a one-off is pretty impressive.

it is well known that toyota has stock in daihatsu and the only real change is the drivetrain, but would you trust a car built by the shittiest japanese car maker with just an engine swap? gotta remember the Materia was being produced before the scion and just a few subtle changes were made.
