are these things relly gas savers? the way i see it is you only have room for what? 2 or 3 gallons? and they way most people ride sport bikes, id see it as wasting more than a car lol.

I get about 43 mpg if I'm not on it hard...

Big time gas saver. They are so light that they dont require a monstrous motor like a regular car would. They are also geared really high and rev really high (these will pull 160mph) so while your going 70 on the hiway you really are saving alot of gas.
