Good morning everyone,

Just saying hello, and starting the questions already.

I have a Eclipse CD4000 Head unit, and just recently purchased CDT Audio CL-61A component speakers. I got my driver side installed and everything worked great. I came out the next morning, and noticed that when I played a CD the new speakers wouldn't play, as well as the factory one that I still have in the passenager side, but if I played the radio, it worked just fine. I have a 2000 Chysler Cirrus LXI. Any help would be greatly appreciated, everything worked just fine before with with the factory speakers, and the aftermarket head unit.

Thanks,

Jason

When you installed the speakers did you touch the HU at all? Maybe a setting got changed? Bad cd? You can try disconnecting the new speaker but I really don't see how it is causing the problem if the radio still works.

Nope I didn't touch the HU at all....I'm just as baffeled as you are...I tried 10 CD's, all did the same thing, the only thing that is coming to mind is that if the factory speakers were amplified, and only running one factory speaker, that it is causing some type of current issues with the speakers. I'm going to install the second CDT speaker and cross my fingers....Thank you for your reply, and if you have any other thoughts, they are definately welcome
