no prolly not. i cant jusify opening one box and finding only one sub and he just took 650 from me lmao. id rather open two boxes, other than that....yah, prolly would. but im betting two LI 12's or the such can outperform this single sub.

So its the physcological aspect of one sub for $650, not a componet of a quality audio system,as in the "sub stage". I see we have different perceptions.

Are these not supposed to be better than most anything available to date on the market? If they perform like RE claims, should they not be more expensive than anything on the market? I understand the cheap syndrome. $650 is a lot of dough. As long as Performance is like mentioned I personally think it's reasonable.

Why did nobody say this when the W7 hit the shelves? The EXACT same statements applied, but because it was JL it was nothing more than ever being "overpriced"

Brand influences more than most like to admit. I try to look at price/performance ratio when choosing equipment.

I agree with i think it was moutain. until they are in a head to head. But i also like to say that yes JL is more expensive here and there they do build a good quality product and stand buy them, not saying that RE dont. JL also has name and we all know that people buy the "name" not the performance. I personally think RE should have and this statement goes with those prices holding true to 650, that they should do whatever they could to keep prices down and costmers happy (build a name to the public that is unknowing to RE). Personally prices are jsut getting crazy **** auto industry fever... all in my opinion.
