new quieter tires = way less road noise = :)

well Monday i got new tires put on my Scion TC. i replaced the old stock Bridgestones with brand new Falken Ziex RE-912's. stock size is 215/45-17, this time went with 225/45-17 because the 215's were on backorder.

anyway.... the new tires are SOOOOO quiet! on nice smooth roads they are pretty much dead silent. all i hear in the car is a lil wind noise and a lil engine noise, but i seem to have VERY little sound coming from the tires. very nice sorta unexpected sound deadening.

had no idea tires could make such a difference in road noise.

I have Falken Ziex 305/22's on my Denali and I put them on at 8000miles and I have 48000 on it now and prob. have another 20000 before I need to change them. I love them. You shoulda put some super swampers on your tc thats some noise LOL

the TC actually weighs about 2900 pounds, plus my sub, amps and a lil deadening.
