Ive got some old products that are no longer in production, Xsite XAD2K amps, and 2 RF RFR2212 subwoofers. These are the 4 inch coil, 24lb motor version. Theyve been reconed with a straight non-pressed paper cone but same coil and spider as OEM. box will be 4 cubic feet after displacement, which is on the large side of what these subs need.

when was the last time you saw those subs? going to take some pics of the amps and batteries in.

the svr batteries, pretty beefy, about 100 lbs each. all this wiring mess will be covered with a 1/4 inch cutout later



the xsite amps. good power for what they were. run perfect at .5 ohm, or 1 ohm strapped. never tried any lower though.



some more of the wiring mess, hiding in there is a smaller autotek at1000 on my mids.

I have seen quite a few of those subs for sale recently. There was a guy on Craigslist around here only wanting 150 bucks for a pair of them, but I was broke at the time, so I couldnt get them. They are great nonetheless..

weird, its strange to see such an old sub being sold. they seem pretty good though. i havent tested them yet, box is in construction. will post pics soon.

fairly run of the mill slot ported box. top is now on, but have to router the holes and the port hole. subs will be facing up, port to rear, tuned at 42 Hz.

and i realized after i put it together i meant to cut it a little different. i always router the port hole off the front baffle board as a full front plate. if you notice, i have it mounted in from the sides and top. dumb mistake. now i have to likely remove those screws in order to router the hole. it seems i never cut a box wrong unless its my own.

decided to face the subs to the rear instead, mainly because the motor was going to more or less be in the inner port. i didnt want to risk it. however, i didnt screw up what i thought i did yesterday with the screws going through my port opening. apparently i thought about it before but forgot i did. lol. i cut the holes and the port opening, but kinda mutilated the port. bondo is in this box's future.
