Just got back in town and got new outkast. the first cd speakerboxxx has some extremely good bass but iam very glad i didnt buy the cds i just cant get into it like i did the rest of their cds.......... each of them making there own cd is a bad idea in my opinion.. they each had their own different thing and when the mixed them it was real good but then they seprate it. it just sucks. trying to find good music now n days is getting difficult.....

I absolutely love Andre's disc. Big Boi's disc is nice, but there's not enough of him rapping on it.

I've noticed that people who are strictly hip-hop fans don't like it that much, while people who listen to other genres are more open to it.

I liked Andre's disc, too, although I also had to listen to it more than once to understand it.
Big Boi's was alright, nice bass, but that's all I'd listen to it for on a consistent basis. Might use some of the songs in a mixtape.

The only songs I really like on Speakerboxxx are Ghettomusick (don't ask me why, I fuc*ing love it), Unhappy, The Way You Move, Flip Flop Rock, War, and Reset.

Oh yeah....both CD's sound infinitely better in the car compared to computer speakers...

i have only listened to big boi all the way through i skipped through andre but i will probably give it more listen when i go back out of town tomorrow morning.......... i do like how they added some of the good oldies back in...... but still sound strange maybe the more i listen to it and get into the actual words........

i agree about the outkast to a point.

everyone needs to try and show off their own skills @ 1 point, now we all know they aren't good apart which means next album they come out with will be really on point!

i disagree w/the last statement - julez santana is a good album, frayser boy is "ok", murphy lee is good, bad boys 2 sdk was good, youngbloodz was 'ok' - joe buddens was ok, beyonce is good!!, ashanti is ok, 36 is ok, lil whyte is ok, cold play is good, r kelly is still on point as well as ron isley.

so there's a lot of stuff that is ok

It's a very odd album IMO...

Andre is definitely unique, to say the least...

Bone Crusher's album ****ing rocked ... My favourite album of 2003, without a doubt. Chingy and Nelly came out with stellar, artistic albums and Bow Wow, man, that kid has potential.
