More powers for mods sounds fine, as long as they aren't too nazi about it. Actually, what I really mean is, they can be as strict as they want, as long as they are going by the forum rules, not their opinion.

And I got tired of you going on and and on and on in the backroom about how mods don't need any more powers. And every mod got tired of you having something stuck up your *** and never taking any mods advice on anything. I've had AIM conversations with most of the mods about how ridiculous some of the things you say are, and now you wanna complain about me griping about it? Hilarious.

Too many rules I guess you could say, and some mods would go with whether or not they like the person than going with the actual rules.......

see, the problem is that there are rules to this forum.... but the mod's can't enforce many of them (change pending et al).

I'm not a mod, so I could be mistaken.

Wow, such an admirable comment you just posted. Too bad it's not true. You know for a fact I do listen and I do take action on things that need addressing. You want complete power to do anything and everything. Well guess what, not gonna happen. And if you don't like it, no one is holding your hand to stay here.

Like I've said over and over, this is a car audio forum, not a CIA covert operations center... Some crazy things are going to happen, some crazy things are going to be said and if you start deleting everything that is a tad out of line, there will be around 10 posts left give or take. You want to ban everyone that says something a tad out of line? Guess what, there will only be around 10 members left. It's just the nature of the audience. A bunch of guys talking about cars... If you have too much control over everything, pretty soon people get mad, tempers flair and people leave, because their post was deleted for no reason, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that no posts should deleted, some very much do. And they are deleted when they are brought to our attention. Anyway, I'm not wasting anymore of my time on this pathetic issue. By the way, I think the forums are ok myself and I'm sure a lot of people would agree. None the less, the new mods will have more power.

I like the "a bunch of guys talking about cars" line, as I think it is very, very true. And in the end everyone, it is his forum, and I doubt he's making money off of it (is he?), so give him a bit of respect (although the sigs are still too long )

ah, back when i was a mod, there wasn't much that could be done.

Although one mod might not be able to ban a user, perhaps if all the mods were united in the decision and if it's pretty obvious to most active members of the forum that the fool gotta go, then i say he or she gotta go. that's right profilepower, i'm talking about you.
