i think the current mods should nominate the new mods and maybe vote them in with the admin...that way this stuff is just for show..

also, they could pm the new mods and that way noone really knows who the mods are...the best mods are the ones u don't know exist...they just simply do their job.

but hey, what do i know? but that's my two centz anyways....

thats quite the idea. keep it up to the "popular vote + 'mod'ular vote \ 2 = average vote" structure.

whoever votes in the public, + all the current moderators vote should be the way its done. and telling people you are a mod and being a flamboyant "Im A MOD GOD" attitude is not my idea of a well kept forum.

so far, the past few changes (smilies+PM box up to 75+misc) have been good changes. but enforcing the rules to keep this a fun place to be is a good idea as well.

denim and mark are two great guys as well. i have a problem remembering names off the top of my mind ya know? maybe ill make a list sometime. but i wouldnt mind being a 'fiberglassing \ box forum' mod. i feel comfertable helping in that area as i know most of what there is to know about building and glassing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

forum - specific mods would be a good idea IMO.

When did it turn into that, was never meant to be in the first place. I think A LOT of poeple need to think. I like Mrray's idea...people who ARE mods and know what it's like should nominate people that they'd trust or think would do a good job! WOOT

my personal opinion is that you shouldnt be a mod unless you are mature enought not to be a post ***** and actually contribute usefull info....being a mod is about more than jus posting and all that...its about enforcoing TOS.....and i'd be willing to do it again.....now that im around again...later,

well i do what i can .......i see to many violations of the TOS as it is........and i like this place to much to let it go completly down the tubes.......and when the mod vote comes around i do intend to be in the vote......i do however like mrrays idea.......silent is always best.........but unfortunatly i see this becoming a vote for everyones favorite post wh0res.......now if u could go through and count every post i've ever made......90% would be usefull info......post that actually contribute to this forum not clutter it up w/ nonsense......in my opinion, a mod should be more about helping....than posting random bs.....no offense to those wh0res out there....jus stating my .02 worth.....and i hope that when the next mod vote comes around everyone here will consider who they think would be best equiped to enforce the TOS and contribute to this forum in a productive manner.......anyways.....jus know....im around....lurking in the shadows working my magic w/ what limited access i have.......later,
