some dumping is actually necessary.. and whether you think so or not you asking 300 for something and me saying hey I will give you 200 for it is in itself post dumping. Let you think about it if you don't get it.

Offers should be kept to PM's anyways, IMO. I can understand some price suggestions, especially for newer people who don't know the going rate for a lot of things. But arguing with a seller and being intentionally confrontational, like a few threads I've seen, is just not needed.

eh I think offers should be public. you see what the offers are and offer higher if it got rejected. It helps the new people see if stuff is going for WAY to high like some stuff. After being rejected it should end at that though.. no other price comparisons should be brought in. no conversations/this stuff is crap/etc etc though also I don't mind seeing scammer threads brought in. It stops you from wasting time on scammer forsale threads

Honestly, I think Goob should just assign classifieds mods. I have been through many forums, like Audiokarma, Gopednation, CACO, SaabCentral, etc. and this one is bar none my absolute favorite. It is the lack of rules in threads that should need no rules that makes this site what it is. If you leave everything but the classifieds alone, this forum would be perfect. All the classifieds needs is a little moderation over post dumping, those who don't post pics and prices, and other general rules. The feedback forum should apply as well to moderation.

I suggest you look into threads such as the mrmakinmoves/ichasepaper2010, audiodave/audioimages, and Heath threads. There is a lot wrong going on in those threads, and a few people stepped out of their way to make things right.

On a separate note, and whether it will matter or not, I personally nominate Misfit for a potential Mod. It is true, he frequents this site very often, and judging by our PM conversations, I think he has what it takes to run this site just a little better.
