so then anyone would be elligible if they get rid of that? if that happened, how would the vote go? would people be nominated, or volunteer for the vote... im interested, id really like to become a mod, i like it here and would like to be able to enjoy it more.

A nomination system could do, maybe a few weeks before the actual voting begins...but knowing what happened last time, barely anyone actually was around for the vote itself. I didn't even see the announcement. All I do is check "User CP" and click "New Posts"...and since it was stickied...and locked...I didn't even see it.

In theory a reputation system is nice...... just like in THEORY, communism is nice. The problem is, that the avg. age and thus, maturity on this forum would surely doom such a system. Not to mention that you mods would have to actually WORK to keep it honest.
